sneaker brand lape came to use for the release of their collection "new horizons", where we explored the confines of the universe and the vast collection of biomes that inspired each item.
for this project we produced 7 animations (1 spot and 6 displays) and a variety of still renders. we wanted a conductive thread to tie everything together nicely, so we came up with the idea of the "capsule" to serve as a vehicle to transport the sneakers across the cosmos.
the result is a cohesive series of short animations that displays each sneaker in a setting that matches their respective features.
